Tom Cruise & Cameron Diaz on set of "Knight & Day"

With two armed men in pursuit, and a herd of bulls in front, Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise were in a tricky situation.

But you wouldn't have known it from looking at Cameron - the actress couldn't keep the smile off her face yesterday.

It may have had something to do with the fact her arms were wrapped around actor Cruise - who became a household name with his muscle bound turn as a motorbike-riding pilot in the 1980s film Top Gun. This time Cameron got to join him on the back on his bike as the pair filmed Knight & Day in the Spanish town of Cruz.

With a stunt double for Cameron standing by, there wasn't much danger involved.

In fact the greatest challenge were the bulls - some of whom had been involved in a breakout earlier in the week.

U.S. actors Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz ride a motorbike on the set during the filming of "Knight & Day", a movie being directed by U.S. director James Mangold in Cadiz, southern Spain November 28, 2009.

Taylor Swift wins five American Music Awards

LOS ANGELES – Country crossover star Taylor Swift overshadowed the late Michael Jackson at the American Music Awards on Sunday, winning five prizes including artist of the year.

Jackson, who had been expected to enjoy a clean sweep, ended up with four awards. He and Swift went head-to-head in the artist of the year race, the ceremony's final prize.

Other multiple winners included hip-hop acts Jay-Z and the Black Eyed Peas, with two each.

Swift, 19, was also named favorite female artist in the pop/rock and country categories, and favorite adult-contemporary artist. Her 2008 album "Fearless," the best-selling release in the United States this year, was named favorite country album.

She accepted her awards live via satellite from backstage at London's Wembley Arena, where she will perform a concert on Monday.

"Music has never been ultimately about competition," Swift said, after winning the artist of the year prize. She said it was an "unimaginable honor" to be cited in the same category as Jackson, and thanked the Jackson family.

Jackson was named favorite male artist in the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories, while his 2003 hits collection "Number Ones" was named favorite album in both those categories. The album is the No. 2 seller this year in the United States.

His brother Jermaine, accompanied by sons Jeremy, Jaafar and Jermajesty, accepted on his behalf. At one point, he thanked Allah "for blessing my entire family."

Rapper Eminem, making a rare awards-show appearance in the wake of his four nominations, went home empty-handed. Glam-pop singer Lady Gaga, rock band Kings of Leon and jailed rapper T.I., who earned three nominations each, were also snubbed.

The Black Eyed Peas were named favorite group in both the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories. Jay-Z won favorite male artist and favorite album in the rap/hip-hop categories. His wife Beyonce, who was performing a show in Dublin, was named favorite female artist in the soul/R&B category.

Punk rock trio Green Day won the favorite alternative artist. Rascal Flatts won favorite country group for the fourth year in a row.

The performance-heavy show included some notable scenes. Openly gay "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert kissed a keyboardist of indeterminate gender and rubbed a male dancer's face in his crotch. Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, landed on her bottom after jumping off the arched back of one of her dancers.

Nominees are determined by radio airplay and retail sales, while members of the public determine the winners through online voting. That's why Jackson got so many nominations, even though he didn't release any new material.

VICTORIA BECKHAM TO DITCH DAVID IN THE NEW YEAR

VICTORIA Beckham and her soccer star husband David will reportedly spend the first half of 2010 apart.

The former Spice Girl has no plans to join David in Milan, where he’s committed himself to a second loan stint playing for AC Milan to chase his World Cup dream.

Victoria will stay behind in Los Angeles so their sons — Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz — can continue to attend their Hollywood school.

“She has no plans to move,” a source said. “All three boys are now at the same school and very happy and settled so it would be too much upheaval for just a few months.”

David, 34, has previously revealed that he hates being away from his brood. “Anyone who knows me knows how I feel about my children, about my wife and my family and I hate being away from them,” he said.

Meanwhile, in a new interview with America’s Allure magazine, Victoria revealed that she prefers sex over sleep.

“I’m getting into bed with David Beckham every night, so, you know, there’d be something wrong if I said, ’sleep’,” she told the mag.

“I tend to wear nothing [to bed],” Victoria added. “But David bought me these little sets from Agent Provocateur, his favorite store.”

VICTORIA Beckham clearly has her priorities in order!

Asked by Allure magazine if she preferred sleep over sex, the 35-year-old former Spice Girl opted for the latter.

“I’m getting into bed with David Beckham every night, so, you know, there’d be something wrong if I said, ’sleep’,” she told the mag.

“I tend to wear nothing [to bed],” Victoria adds. “But David bought me these little sets from Agent Provocateur, his favorite store.”

And if given the choice of salads or fries, the skinny star admits she always goes green.

“I’m not going to lie — I’m not one of those people that says, ‘Oh, I eat hamburgers’,” she said.

“I don’t self-tan anymore,” she added. “It’s frustrating when people criticize my color. It’s the color that I am! I wear sunblock, but I live in a hot climate.”

Victoria Beckham has been using a £55 "natural Botox" face cream to keep her skin looking young. The 33-year-old star has attempting to fight the ageing process with Natralox cream, which contains 'wonder ingredient' Argireline, to smooth out any unwanted wrinkles on her face.Argireline claims to relax muscles, while hyaluronic acid - found in injectable fillers - is believed to help plump out wrinkles. The cream also includes vitamins A and C, along with amino acids.

Oprah Winfrey's OWN sets launch date

Oprah's new cable network has a launch date. OWN will debut in January 2011 -- eight months before Oprah Winfrey's syndicated talk show airs its final episode.

"Oprah has been nourishing people through her television show for nearly 25 years, a legacy that has touched millions the world over," said Christina Norman, CEO of OWN. "She is the life force behind OWN and will be guiding the effort for this completely new 24-hour television experience premiering in January 2011."

The announcement is the latest in a series of launch dates for OWN, which had a full-blown upfront presentation to advertisers in May. The network was originally expected to launch by the end of this year. Then it was pushed to 2010, and now 2011. The new launch date will be three years after the joint venture was originally formed.

OWN is a joint venture between Winfrey and Discovery Communications and will debut in about 80 million homes, rebranding what is currently the Discovery Health Channel

In a statement, Winfrey commented on the departure of her syndicated show: "I love this show," Winfrey said. "This show has been my life. And I love it enough to know when it's time to say good-bye. Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and it feels right in my spirit. It's the perfect number -- the exact right time. So I hope that you will take this 18-month ride with me right through to the final show. So, the countdown to the end of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' starts now and until that day in 2011 when it ends, I intend to soak up every meaningful, joy-filled moment with you."

Oprah will announce the conclusion of her iconic talk show during Friday's taping.

The Oprah Winfrey Show to end in 2011

"After much prayer and months of careful thought, I have decided that next season, season 25, will be the last season of The Oprah Winfrey Show," the daytime queen said. "Over the next couple of days, you may hear a lot of speculation in the press about why I am making this decision now...and that will mostly be conjecture.

"So why walk away and make next season the last? Here is the real reason: I love this show," Winfrey said. "This show has been my life. And I love it enough to know when it's time to say good-bye. Twenty-five years feels right in my bones, and it feels right in my spirit. It's the perfect number — the exact right time. So I hope that you will take this 18-month ride with me right through to the final show."
